If you are a regular visitor to this site you may have noticed something different today. It seems that I've decided to add another 3 day event to my calendar this year - 60 km in Vancouver BC this August. What's really pathetic is that when I first read the information my thought was...a 40 mile training walk...awesome!

What is really awesome is that I can walk in my sister's hometown. She and my niece are part of the reason I'm out there walking in the first place. I don't want either of them to ever know the fear of cancer. Some of the money raised in this new event will stay in her hometown...I hope she never needs to benefit from it directly but this is my way of helping those who will.
