Saturday's training walk gave me the opportunity to meet still another walker from the email group. We had a great chat during our 7 mile walk. I'm really enjoying meeting these new walkers!

After my walk I headed straight over to Whidbey Island to meet a former Kindred Spirit teammate for a scrapbook weekend. Bonnie is such a great gal and it was great to catch up with her...not to mention work on my walk pictures from last year! Almost done now. I'm working to have the album completed by the Houseparty on the 21st. Since Jeff is in Vegas for the next month or so I figure I'll have some spare time on my hands to fill and what better way to do it! ;-)

Now for the best news...I've topped $1000 in fundraising as of today! A gal I met a couple years ago on a training walk donated online today. She has been a walker herself and I know she understand just how important this fight is. I'm not sure if she's walking again this year but I'm definitely going to find out. I'm continually amazed at the generosity of spirit this event attracts. Thank you Stephanie.
