Is it silly when you feel a rush of pride because your 18 year old son wears his pink "Cancer Sucks" pin while he works delivering pizza? Jason stopped by the house today on his way to work and I couldn't help but notice that his pin was pinned to the front of his uniform. While I wish that this son of mine had never been touched by cancer I wonder how having my diagnosis explained to him at the tender age of 12 will eventually affect his choices in life. He'd roll his eyes and laugh if I ever asked him that question yet he goes to work with a pink "Cancer Sucks" pin on the front of his shirt. Maybe some good has come of my personal nightmare.
