Today I met with the nice folks at the Everett Parks Dept at Howarth Park and chose the spot where Sean's memorial bench will be placed. We considered several different locations within the park, but nothing felt quite right until we were standing in a lovely spot between two large evergreen trees overlooking the water on the bluff. As I stood there and looked out a pair of bald eagles flew by. One landed in the tree I was standing under and proceeded to call its mate. Perfect. Message received. Sean's bench will be placed exactly where I was standing in about two months. I believe it will be a place that brings me peace when I most need it. I'm looking forward to sharing it.
