Very busy weekend...

First I gave in and volunteered to be the Sweep Captain for the Vancouver Weekend to End Breast Cancer which takes place the weekend before the Seattle walk. Looks like the Seattle Disco Divas will be back (sorry Bjorg).

Saturday found me walking 10 miles in Snohomish with nearly 30 walkers...with a really ugly cold/sinus thing/bronchitus...I don't know. The walk went well though and beside the illness part my body felt great.

Sunday found me walking another 10 miles in Mukilteo with nearly 30 walkers ... again...with the same icky illness and no sleep...but a great group of walkers and again other than the illness part I feel great. Does that even make sense? I'm loving my new shoes and training is going great. Yippee!
