HOT HOT HOT! Mother Nature decided to really heat things up around here this weekend. I guess we needed some heat training but yikes!

Fifty one hot, sweaty walkers joined me for 14 miles on the Centennial Trail Saturday. Flat and hot. Oh fun! Everyone made it back in one piece and while I did get some reports of new blisters, heat issues, etc I think it was a good experience for most.

Sunday was supposed to be hotter so I trimmed the mileage a bit and 25 sticky walkers joined me for 13 miles in Mukilteo. It heated up quite a bit the last hour or so and I was very happy that I had shortened the route. Again, everyone did great. I've very proud of the group!

This weekend was also the second team garage sale. I'm still counting up the proceeds but so far we are lookign at over $1200! Wow. Another one is scheduled for next weekend in Everett.
