Another very warm weekend. We just don't do well in Washington when the temp goes above 85!

Saturday 39 hot walkers traveled 18 miles on the Centennial Trail in Snohomish. Fortunately it was overcast most of the morning - still 90, but overcast - which helped alot. We also were blessed by a teammate and her hubby who came out to support us with ice, water and gatoraid. Thank you SO MUCH Sheri and Jeff!

Sunday was 15.8 miles but the sun was out the entire time and it was a more challenging route. 30 walkers braved the heat and completed the weekend hot tired and bit sore but they did earn their 18/15 back to back sticker! Much thanks to Bernie and her fiance Mitch for supporting us on the route Sunday. We really couldn't have done it without you!

Sunday was also our team BBQ at Silver Lake. The beach was packed with temps in the 90's but the team enjoyed the relative shade of the cabana as we went over some last minute details, met our new tentmates and picked up our team tshirts. I'm so proud of this group I can't hardly stand it. We stand as the number 3 fundraising team in the country. Wow. That's pretty hard to wrap my brain around!
