Very busy weekend!

Friday night I hosted a "Now What" fundraising workshop. I had a great group attend with great energy and ideas. I'm looking forward to seeing how their fundraising takes off from here!

Saturday I attended the stretching workshop but handed off my training walk so I could be at the Car Wash instead. We were quite busy at the car wash and netted about $350. Not bad for 4 hours worth of work. If there is enough interest from the team I'll work on organizing another one.

Saturday night Jakob came over to play and we both fell asleep in my bed.

On Mother's Day I was again was reminded how blessed I really am. I hadn't really given too much thought as to how my 2nd Mother's Day without both of my sons might go. I forgot that the boy's friends wouldn't forget me. Shaun and Anja brought their brand new son, Jaxon, over for me to meet. He was less than 2 days old and they dressed him up to bring him to me. Thank you guys. Then Latisha stopped by with a card and candy for me. She even included a photo of her and baby James. Thank you Latisha for remembering. Christeena texted me that she was thinking of me too. And then Jeff was wise enough to know that I needed to spend some quality "me" time digging in my garden and helped me plant nearly 150 plants in the afternoon. That and the visit from Jason, Elisha and Jakob was exactly what I needed. I am so blessed.
