I'm so amazed at the generosity of people. I just finally opened my mail from this weekend and found a check for $100 from a gal I used to work with at AT&T. The thing that makes this even more incredible is that this is the second $100 check I've received from her.

Here is the note she included:
Dear Penny,
I hope this will help. I just found out another friend of mine has Breast Cancer! Discovered thru a mammogram.

I'm so sad that she has been touched once again by this disease. She's a wonderful person - always smiling, always cheerful. I know how hard it can be to watch the people you care about fight this disease. I will keep her and her friend in my prayers.
