I have been SO BAD about making entries in here! Between the holiday, camping and training I've been swamped!

It just struck me yesterday that the countdown in on....less than a month now. Some days I feel really ready, others not so ready.

I have to admit to slacking a bit on the training this week. I did a couple pretty aggressive hikes while I was camping last weekend and my calves have just recovered! Now I'm in the middle of making sure everything goes smoothly for the campout this weekend. I had 24 confirmed campers but 4 cancelled. I've filled one of the spots from my back up list and am hoping to fill the rest as well. The weather is going to be warm - 80's while we walk so this will be a great tuneup for the event next month. I'm really looking forward to it. In reality I'm probably looking forward to having all the planning and organizing over with!
