Oh my goodness. I'm so excited and it's still 4 whole days away! How am I going to be able to sleep until Thursday?

Today we had our team BBQ. There was a moment that I looked around at all the walkers and families and the thought struck me how lucky I am to know these wonderful people. We've gone from complete strangers to a team in the true sense of the word and I'm a bit overwhelmed by the power of that.

A couple of my teammates shared stories of how this event has affected them and the stories they've heard. Their stories were just another reminder of how much this event is not about me and my issues, but about all the families affected by cancer. I've said it before but it came back in a rush today. I really can't wait to be a walking tesimonial to how this fight can be won!!
