I have amazing friends. I mean really, truly amazing.

Let me tell you a story. A couple of days ago I sent out an email to a good portion of my address book. In this email I asked people to hold the evening of Thursday, February 6th for my pub fundraiser. I didn't give very many details. Heck I didn't even give them an address. As an afterthought I asked them to RSVP if they thought they'd attend. The next thing I know I start getting email notes saying that they'd be there. I'm talking people I haven't seen in MONTHS jumping at the chance to help me and support this cause. Then another thing started happening...These same folks started visiting this pledge page and signing my guestbook, letting me know that they were there for me. Next I started getting email notifications that I was receiving donations through the Avon website - one from a former walker that I helped raise her minimum last year by speaking at her houseparty.

The outpouring of support has left me so humble. How did I ever get so lucky to find myself associated with such an amazing group of women and men? I am truly blessed - in all the right ways...
