Well, I've finally come down after the Pub Night Fundraiser. It was awesome. I'm still working on a final tally but as of right now I'm at $2043. The bar is still figuring out the amount I'll be getting from beer sales. I'm guessing around $200...

My head still spins when I think of how generous folks were. The silent auction was an awesome idea. We had about 50 items and there was a business owner in the bar that actually added a couple more after we got started. When the auction was over it was amazing how many people handed me $50 for a $20 bid, etc. And it wasn't just my family and friends. Complete strangers were bidding and winning! One guy handed me $250 for a $150 bid. Wow. My eyes were full of tears for the better part of half an hour as I was collecting money.

People from all areas of my life attended - co-workers, family, scrapbook customers, high school friends and a couple gals from the MamaFest at Stevens Pass.

The bar owner and his wife have invited me back again. They'd like to have me set up a fundraiser there a couple times a year! Wow!
