I flipped my calendar this morning to June and suddenly, staring me right in the face, was "SF 6/27-29." I'm totally excited. My first event is much closer than I think I realized. They also posted our start/end point and campsite today. I don't know the area but it looks like we'll be camping right under the Golden Gate Bridge. I've been advised that it will be chilly but beautiful!

I've also started investigating fun ways to get down to Portland. The train looks like it could be a bunch of fun. I sent out an email to the rest of the Portland group to see if anyone is interested. We'll see...

Today I also plan to send out another email to the Ft Ebey Campout walkers. I need to confirm carpool drivers and who is bringing what for camping equipment. So far though things are going smoothly.

No workout today. Still letting my hamstring rest up for this weekends back to back walks. I'm a little nervous about walking on it but I figure if I take it a bit slower and pay attention I should be okay.

Oh, one more thing. I just can't seem to get enough of these events. The 3 Day format is back with three walks scheduled in CA in November. I just signed up to crew the San Francisco walk Nov 7-9. I've never seen this event from the crew side before so I'm kinda excited! Crazy!? Probably.!
