Hi Penny, I feel as if I should know you personally, having been here to your page months ago and also reading your messages. I have family in Anacortes and so have a vague idea of your walking environment etc. I'll look forward to seeing you at the weekend unless I pull it together to visit you before at one of your events. It is a busy time with vacations, some tutoring at home here, adult kids ,walking groups etc. I'd love to be able to do it all and with energy to spare!! Some of us are feeling a tiny shred of burn out but know that it is part nerves and summer slower-ness! We have a great and diverse group that walks twice a week at least (together that is) here in Crescent Beach, near White Rock (near Peace Arch border). We suffered a low blow last week hearing that one of our irregular/regular walkers has found a tumour in her second breast and faces tough decisions and treatment! Oh my!! We will be given strength to fight even harder once we get our breath back I'm sure! Thanks for listening. Wanted to let you know that you are a unique and positive inspiration to me and others. You go girl! Carry on! Blessings to you and yours and success in all you do.
