The first thing I thought of when I heard my mom was going to do a 3 day walk was WHAT COULD SHE BE THINKING. 60 miles in 3 days - thats nuts. Then I relized that it was for a good cause. Breast cancer!!! I still remember the day when my mother told me that she had cancer it scared me to death to think that she had somthing that could kill her and there was nothing that I could do to help. She told me that all the money that was raised went to find a cure for breast cancer. I was confused when she told me that it was for breast cancer because thats not the kind of cancer she had. Although I'm proud that she is willing to walk that far to find a cure for a cancer that she didn't even have. It makes me proud that she completed the walk last year and is willing and going to do it agian. I'm happy to say that she has been cancer free for 3 years and still going.
